Andria Hall, an award winning broadcast journalist, will be co-host of this year’s Gabriel Awards Ceremony to be held October 18 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Ms. Hall is the host of America at Worship, a Faith & Values Media program, which airs Sunday mornings on the Hallmark Channel reaching more than 50 million homes. In addition, she is the president of SpeakEasy M.E.D.I.A., Inc., a media and public presentation consulting firm.

From 1999 to 2001, she was weekend anchor with CNN. Previously she served in the same capacity with New York’ NBC affiliate and as a national news correspondent with FOX. She was also a key member of the journalistic team behind Chronicle, the award-winning nightly newsmagazine produced by WCVB-TV, Boston. Featured in magazines such as Essence, Ebony and Jet, she was recently presented with an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters from Virginia University of Lynchburg.

Ms. Hall has also authored two books, This Far by Faith: How to Put God into Everyday Living and The Walk at Work: A Prayer Guide to Faith, Prayer and Daily Triumph at the Office.

Born in North Carolina, her family moved to Brooklyn, New York, when she was four. Her father has been a pastor at the same church for 40 years.  Her mother is a retired counselor and educator. Ms. Hall and her husband (who also works in television) have three children and make their home in New Jersey.
